About CleverCat

Why CleverCat Exists

The hardest part about adopting HubSpot apps is not finding something that works today. It is trusting it will still work six months from now after your team grows, your workflows change, and HubSpot evolves without turning into manual work, broken automations, and unreliable data.

CleverCat builds Operational Utilities for HubSpot admins and ops teams. Each app is maintained like critical internal tooling: supported, actively updated, and engineered for predictable behavior over time. The goal is simple: fewer avoidable workflow failures, higher confidence in your CRM, and outcomes you can depend on.

CleverCat currently publishes three HubSpot apps: DupliCat, PressKit, and TabCalendar. DupliCat covers repeatable record cloning workflows. PressKit covers one Electronic Press Kit profile per HubSpot Company record with draft/publish controls. TabCalendar covers yearly availability planning with explicit rollout boundaries. All apps ship with docs and support paths so teams can validate fit before broader rollout.

Who Built It

CleverCat is built by an operator who has spent years owning production outcomes, the person on-call when something breaks, responsible for restoring service, and expected to prevent the same issue from returning.

That background matters because HubSpot admins and ops teams do not need clever features that drift over time. They need tools that will not silently change behavior, break workflows, or degrade data after an update.

Here is the operating experience behind that standard:

  • Production ownership at scale: 10+ years operating a high-traffic live-service game with 4,000+ peak concurrent users, frequent releases, and real incident response. That work forces uptime discipline, cautious deploys, and rollback readiness.
  • Support as an operating system: 6,300+ support tickets closed to resolution with structured triage, prioritization, and follow-through, so recurring issues get eliminated, not endlessly re-opened.
  • Stability through closed loops: edge cases are captured, reproduced, and turned into durable fixes (permissions, associations, API quirks). The product gets stronger over time because the loop is closed, not deferred.

How We Keep Apps Safe to Adopt

Our apps are built for long-term operation. They are actively updated as HubSpot changes and as production usage surfaces the kind of edge cases you do not see in demos.

Stewardship shows up in specific practices:

  • Regression-conscious releases validated in a separate test environment across key objects, associations, and permission scenarios
  • Rollback readiness so issues can be contained quickly and customers are not stuck waiting
  • Clear release notes explaining what changed, who it affects, and what to watch for
  • Compatibility discipline to keep behavior stable as HubSpot APIs, objects, and UI evolve
  • Issue management that closes the loop with reproducible bug reports, tracked root causes, and verified fixes

If something slips, you will get clear communication: what we believe is happening, who may be affected, practical workarounds when available, and what is coming next.

Security and privacy practices are documented on our Trust pages at /security and /privacy. DPA review starts at /dpa, with app pages at /apps/duplicat, /apps/presskit, and /apps/tabcalendar.

CleverCat's promise is not to be everything. It is to publish focused operational utilities for HubSpot that keep doing the right thing as everything else changes.
